Nominate a colleague or student today!!! AMCD awards nomination deadline is quickly approaching (January 31).
The Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development is pleased to announce that the nomination process for a wide variety of awards is now open.  Take a moment now to go to the AMCD web site (http://multiculturalcounseling.org/) where you will find the list of awards and their qualifying criteria.  Please note that some awards will require supporting documentation with nomination submission. For more information, contact the Awards Committee c/o of Cyrus Williams (cwilliams2 at regent.edu<mailto:cwilliams2 at regent.edu>) or Ann Shillingford (mashillingford at wm.edu<mailto:mashillingford at wm.edu> ).

All nominations must be submitted electronically by January 31, 2012. All nominations will be reviewed according to the guidelines and requirements as listed for each award. The co-chairs of the Awards Committee will notify all nominees and nominators of the outcome by March 1, 2012.

The Awards will be presented during the 2012 AMCD Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA in March 2012.  Award recipients and their nominators are encouraged to attend the awards reception at the Conference. In addition, award recipients and their accomplishments will be featured in the AMCD Newsletter and on the official AMCD website. Below please find the names of the AMCD awards.
