Seminary – Counseling Faculty Position Announcement
The Lincoln Christian University Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty member in the area of Counseling, effective July1, 2012.
Qualifications: Doctorate in counseling, psychology, or related field (PhD or equivalent). Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited doctoral program. Membership in a professional counseling organization (ACA and/or its divisions) and appropriate certification and/or licensure for practice required. Significant experience in both teaching and counseling preferred. Interest in or experience with online instruction, and evidence of scholarly and professional engagement or contribution desired. Volunteer/professional church ministry or pastor care experience highly valued.
Applicants should possess a passion for teaching, a spirit of collegiality, and an ability to draw prospective students. Applicants should support the University’s mission, core values, and basic beliefs (documents available at www.LincolnChristian.edu/GeneralInformation). Given the nature of this position, preferential consideration will be given to active members of independent Christian Churches or Churches of Christ, as these represent the University’s primary religious constituency. Salary and benefits are competitive for this 10-month faculty position.
