Rehabilitation Counseling Assistant/Associate Professor

This tenure track faculty position will teach graduate (master’s and doctoral) and undergraduate courses in Rehabilitation Counseling (on-campus and distance education) within an area of Rehabilitation Counseling specialization and advise students. This faculty member will conduct research and prepare manuscripts for publication in professional journals. The incumbent will prepare grant/contract applications to secure funding for training, research, and will participate in professional outreach and community activities related to rehabilitation counseling. The incumbent will participate in department, college, and university committees. The candidate must hold certification as CRC, doctorate in rehabilitation or closely related area of study. The candidate will have experience in college/university teaching, research and outreach and must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and persons with disabilities.

Application Materials:

1. Curriculum Vitae and official graduate transcripts
2. Three letters of reference
3. Samples of scholarly work (e.g., refereed or professional publications, other relevant materials such as videotapes, curricula, in-service training modules, etc.)
4. Teaching/training evaluations.

The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements in the U.S. at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue to work legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.
