Core (Full-Time) Faculty - Ph.D. Counselor Education and Supervision

Walden University invites applicants for the Core (Full-Time) Faculty, Ph.D. Counselor Education and Supervision position in the School of Counseling and Social Service.  We seek candidates who embody our mission of positive social change, broad access and professional excellence as well as our values of quality, integrity and student-centeredness.

The Ph.D. Counselor Education and Supervision program focuses on preparing exemplary counselor educators, advanced counseling practitioners, and program administrators who are committed to the scholar practitioner model; who generate, use, and disseminate knowledge about human development and relationships; who are committed to the advancement of the counseling profession; and who seek to effect positive social change through their professional and personal activities.  The successful candidate will join a faculty educating Walden University students by effectively and proficiently using online technology and resources so that knowledge, information, feedback, and critique are imparted to and shared with students in timely, thoughtful, carefully formulated, and well written communications.


An earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from an accredited university is required with strong preference given to candidates whose terminal degree is from a CACREP accredited program.  Additionally, the successful candidate will have a significant record of effective teaching and mentoring for doctoral-level students, including directing dissertation research, experience in clinical supervision and a record of scholarly publications and presentations over the last five years.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
