> ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN REHABILITATION/MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING: The Department of Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology at the University at Buffalo invites applications for an advanced assistant/associate tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2013. We seek to hire a highly motivated faculty member with an earned doctorate in a counseling-related discipline for our masters level rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling programs. The University at Buffalo is one of only 62 research-intensive institutions in the Association of American Universities, and faculty are primarily expected to be stellar researchers and scholars. We are particularly interested in applicants with a CRC certification, a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, or LMHC and can contribute to the Graduate School of Education’s strategic strength in Family-School Societal Transitions. Responsibilities include research and teaching required courses within the on-campus and online rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling programs. Applicants at the associate professor level must have a record of scholarship consistent with the promotion standards at the University at Buffalo and have a record of, or the potential to obtain, external funding and will be expected to direct the mental health counseling program. Screening begins February 1, 2013, and continues until the position is filled.
