HONOR YOUR CULTURALLY-COMPETENT COLLEAGUES!

Counselors who have demonstrated their commitment to multicultural counseling and development deserve to be honored.

Please take this opportunity to recognize your culturally-competent colleagues by nominating them for AMCD awards.

The Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development is pleased to announce that the nomination process for a wide variety of awards is now open. Take a moment now to go to the AMCD web site (http://multiculturalcounseling.org<http://multiculturalcounseling.org/>) where you will find the list of awards and their qualifying criteria. Please note that some awards will require supporting documentation with nomination submission. For more information, please contact the Awards Committee c/o of SaDohl Goldsmith (sadohl.goldsmith at asurams.edu<mailto:sadohl.goldsmith at asurams.edu>) or June Hyun (jhyun at spu.edu<mailto:jhyun at spu.edu>).

All nominations must be submitted electronically by January 31, 2013. All nominations will be reviewed according to the guidelines and requirements as listed for each award. The co-chairs of the Awards Committee will notify all nominees and nominators of the outcome by March 1, 2012.
The Awards will be presented during AMCD Luncheon at the 2013 ACA Annual Conference in Cincinnati, OH in March 2013. Award recipients and their nominators are encouraged to attend the awards reception at the Conference. In addition, awards recipients and their accomplishments will be featured in the AMCD Newsletter and on the official AMCD website. Below please find the names of the AMCD awards.
