The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program, identification with the American Counseling Association, as well as an interest in providing leadership to the counseling profession. A commitment to the development of a scholarly agenda, pursuit of external funding to support a scholarly agenda, higher education teaching, and program development efforts are expected. The pursuit of counselor licensure in Ohio will also be expected. While there will be some flexibility in teaching assignments, depending on the successful candidate’s unique combination of skills and interests, competence to teach in the doctoral program and master’s programs is expected. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Preference will be given to applications and supporting documents received by January 15, 2013, but the position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
