Hilliard City School District, located in a northwest Columbus suburb, is t=e 9th largest school district in the state of Ohio and serves more than 15=600 students in grades K-12. The district currently has openings for a Po=t Secondary Counselor and an Extensions Counselor. Ideal candidates shou=d have a Master's degree or equivalent from a four- year college or univer=ity and appropriate state of Ohio certification/licensure.

The duties for the Post-Secondary Counselor include, but are not limited to=

* Assists students and families in the college application process

* Serves as primary contact for student scholarship opportunities (=oth National and Local)

* Coordinates Explore/PLAN testing and ACT/SAT test prep seminars f=r the district

* Coordinates district financial aid/FAFSA information sessions

* Coordinates NCAA Clearinghouse information sessions and serves as=a resource for students and families

* Dual Enrollment coordinator in conjunction with HS guidance depar=ments

The duties for the Extensions Counselor include, but are not limited to:

* Coordinates all alternative placements/in-take process (online, C=I, LEAD, etc.)

* Assists students in Credit Flexibility options/enrollment

* Assists students in Senior Capstone options/management/placements

* Assists in job placement services for CBI/alternative students

* Conducts groups, provides counseling services to all students in =lternative placements

SALARY - based upon experience
