The faculty are practitioner-scholars who are committed to excellent teaching, scholarly research and professional service. Graduates go on to positions of leadership in education and human service organizations across the nation. Now one of nine colleges on campus, EHD has a special role within the University of fostering healthy human development and learning across the lifespan, beginning in early childhood. The College actively embraces human and cultural diversity as an asset and seeks to weave it throughout all activities.

The College is located in a beautiful newly constructed and renovated building, designed for LEED Silver certification and equipped with state-of-the-art technology that gives its programs world-wide reach.
