Position (1):                    Program Coordinator; Associate/Full Professor. The position will begin August of 2012.
Qualifications:               Applicants must have an earned doctorate in counseling, or a closely related field, and eligibility for Ohio counselor licensure is desirable. Qualified individuals will have an active research program, including a demonstrated ability to secure grant funding that will align with the Program and School mission to promote research focusing on prevention in community and school settings.  Applicants are encouraged to provide evidence of leadership on the program and departmental levels, showing engagement in a continuous improvement process to strengthen student and organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities:           Responsibilities for this position include: (a) program coordination and leadership, directing both doctoral and master's programs, (b) conducting research, publishing, and grant writing, consistent with the Program's and University's focus on research excellence; (c) forming interdisciplinary collaborations to promote research, teaching, and service within the School of Human Services, (d) providing leadership for the development of online courses and online certificates, (e) collaborating with local community and university resources to enhance counselor training experiences; and (f) engaging in community, professional, and university partnerships and service initiatives.
Salary:                              Competitive, based on background and experience.

Position (2):                        Assistant Tenure-Track Professor. The position will begin August of 2012.

Qualifications:                   Applicants must have an earned doctorate in counseling, or a closely related field, with specialization in school counseling and must have experience in conducting research and grant writing. Academic training in a CACREP accredited counselor education program, counseling experiences (especially applying the ASCA National Model) in school settings, and eligibility for Ohio counselor licensure are highly desirable. A demonstrated commitment to a prevention orientation for school counseling, evidence-based practice, multiculturalism, and social justice is highly valued. Applicants must have degree completed by August 31, 2012.
