Required Qualifications: 
andidate must posses earned doctorate in Rehabilitation Counselor Education 
r a related field from an accredited university program. The candidate must 
ave CRC certification and be eligible for LPC license in the state of North 
arolina within year. The candidate must have the following:  evidence of 
ffective teaching and evidence of scholarly activities and research; teaching 
xperience at master's level with at least 5 years of experience; evidence of 
ponsored research or support for scholarship or expertise by relevant 
ndustry; evidence of ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to 
ccomplish organizational goals; evidence of online teaching experience;  
vidence of ability to use instructional technology and distance education 
odes; evidence providing clinical supervision to counseling trainees; and 
eadership in professional organizations. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
xperience working with one or more of the following areas: experience in the 
tate-Federal Vocational Rehabilitation system, private rehabilitation, 
ehabilitation administration, school to work transition, deafness, mental 
ealth, or substance abuse. Evidence of grant writing experience; evidence 
orking with multicultural student and client populations; and evidence of 
rofessional and scholarly productivity in refereed journals.  
Duties: 
uties include teaching graduate courses; Participation in or support of 
evelopment of opportunities for students to gain practical experience such 
s: internships, clinical participation, research exposure, and service 
earning; 
cademic advising of graduate students; and departmental and university 
ervice; Participation in scholarly activities and research; and the 
evelopment and implementation of sponsored research activities.
