Show, by your actions, that you choose peace over war, freedom over oppression, voice over silence, service over self-interest, respect over advantage, cooperation over competition, action over passivity, diversity over uniformity, and justice over all.

Subject: Assoc. for the Development of the Person-Centered Approach

Dear CESNETers,

The Association for the Development of the Person-Centered Approach (ADPCA) has been experiencing a renaissance in the U.S. and Canada in the past few years, including a large increase in student membership.

ADPCA's new website (www.adpca.org<http://www.adpca.org/>) is a good resource for all counseling professionals and students. It has information on the person-centered approach, the history and goals of the organization, back issues of the Person-Centered Journal and newsletter Renaissance, links to other resources, a discussion forum, and other information.

Membership benefits ($30 regular, $15 student) include:
--subscription to the Person-Centered Journal
--subscription to the newsletter Renaissance
-- participation in ADPCA's email listserve
-- listing in the ADPCA membership directory
--discounted registration fee at the Annual Conference
--opportunity to participate in ADPCA's democratic governance
--opportunity to share in the leadership and tasks of ADPCA
--opportunity to be part of a national and international group of people who share person-
centered values and endeavor to apply them in their lives and work and in the work and
   activities of ADPCA

If you or your students might be interested in joining ADPCA, this can be done easily on the website or by mail.

If you have any questions about the Association, please feel free to contact me.

Best wishes,
Howie Kirschenbaum
Secretary, ADPCA
