Youngstown State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure track faculty position in the Counseling Program (emphasis in Student Affairs/College Counseling). The starting date is August 22, 2011.
The CACREP and NCATE-Accredited YSU Counseling Program offers program tracks in five areas: clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, student affairs, college counseling, and addiction counseling.

Requirements include an earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP Accredited Program. Experience in student affairs/college counseling required. Additional experience in clinical mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and/or school counseling preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to (1) teach graduate level counseling classes in our CACREP accredited counseling program, engage in (2) scholarship, and (3) professional and university service. Graduate teaching experience in student affairs/college counseling and eligibility for licensure as a professional clinical counselor in Ohio are preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience.
