Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor, GSEPD - Counseling.
Position Type: Full-time, tenure track position. Rank and Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Special Note:
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in Counselor Education. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience and/or coursework in School Counseling and/or Correctional Counseling. Applicants should have general clinical skills and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a counselor in WV. Applicants must demonstrate a record of college teaching, evidence of or capacity for scholarly activity and knowledge/experience in using technology to deliver instruction. In addition, applicants should have evidence of effective communication skills and a commitment to continued professional growth and teaching experience.
Duties: The applicant will be responsible for preparing and teaching graduate courses which may include both on-campus and off-campus assignments, maintaining office hours and advising students, engaging in scholarly activities and service, and participating in department and institutional functions.
