The VCU Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation's (PM&R) Center for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering (CERSE) is seeking a dynamic individual in a full time (Assistant/Associate Professor rank) without tenure faculty position with a specialization in traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation.  This grant funded position will coordinate activities with an on-going DARPA funded study exploring the utility of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the treatment of post-concussive syndrome.

The incumbent will also have the opportunity to work on a number of related Federally sponsored studies.  Specialization within the broad area of TBI rehab is open.  Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated success in obtaining external funding at the PI or Co-PI level on related rehabilitation science topics and an existing funded research agenda.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in public health, psychology, or a field related to rehabilitation sciences. Experience working in rehabilitation medicine or related settings is a plus.

This position has a 12 month renewable contract. The position is located in Richmond, VA, has a competitive salary and is open immediately.
