Counseling Psychology Position Announcement
The College of Education at Lehigh University invites applications for two tenure-track positions: (1) Assistant Professor and (2) Assistant/Associate Professor in our APA-accredited Counseling Psychology Program.
We are looking for a scientist-practitioner whose scholarly interests fit with our mission of offering a multicultural and global education to graduate students. The successful candidates are expected to contribute to the program's mission in research (within a recognized area of counseling psychology), teaching (in counseling psychology and school counseling programs), and supervision of students in practicum and fieldwork settings. Candidates with the following credentials will be considered:
* Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited training program with a scientist-practitioner emphasis
* Licensed, or license eligible, as a psychologist in Pennsylvania
* Demonstrated or potential for masters and doctoral graduate research, teaching, advising,
and supervision
* Interest and background in signature areas of the Lehigh Counseling Psychology Program
(i.e., multicultural issues and social justice, international counseling psychology, counseling process and supervision, school counseling, and vocational counseling)
* Promise of a strong scholarly record and program of research, and potential to successfully
seek external funding

and 1800 graduate students, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with easy access to New York City
and Philadelphia. The Counseling Psychology Program, housed in the College of Education offers a doctorate in Counseling Psychology as well as masters' degrees in Counseling and Human Services, Elementary School Counseling, Secondary School Counseling, and International Counseling.
