Assistant Professor Counselor Education
The University of Toledo is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for its CACREP-accredited doctoral and master's programs to begin August, 2011. Qualifications include Doctorate in Counselor Education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, strong identification with the counseling profession, licensed or license-eligible as a PC or PCC in Ohio with supervisory endorsement desirable. Preference given for record of teaching, scholarly research, publication, and external funding. Experience in school counseling or marriage and family counseling is desirable. The salary and a generous benefit package are competitive and commensurate with education and experience. The University of Toledo is designated Carnegie Doctoral/Research-Extensive. Established in 1872, UT recently merged with the Medical University of Ohio and is now the third largest university in Ohio.
