Half Time Faculty, Counseling and Art Therapy

Summary
The College announces a search for a half-time faculty member to assume teaching and advising responsibilities in its graduate Art Therapy and Counseling Program beginning January 2011.
Responsibilities
Teaching in the graduate art therapy and counseling program; advising students; participating in committee work; directing culminating projects; assisting in curriculum and program development; and fulfilling other customary faculty responsibilities.
Qualifications
* Earned Doctorate in counselor education or counseling, preferably from a CACREP accredited program, ABD considered
* Licensed PCC or license eligible in Ohio, preferably with supervisory status
* Master's degree in art therapy with an ATR-BC, and/or have an affinity for creative and expressive approaches
* Active participation in state, national, and local professional organizations
Candidates must have excellent communication skills; demonstrated experience working in a diverse community; flexibility and mature judgment; and a commitment to teaching in a challenging, collaborative, and values-based environment with a focus on promoting individual student success. Salary is commensurate with background and experience.
