   Counseling program, beginning fall 2011. Responsibilities include teaching core counseling
   courses, research, supervision, service, and sharing program leadership.
   This is a new position.

   The Purdue School Counseling program, the 2007 recipient of the NCACES Outstanding
   Innovation in Counselor Education Award, is a dynamic program with selective admissions;

   Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Counselor Education or Counseling Psychology,
   preferably from an accredited program; have professional experience in P-12; and
   demonstrate a history of, or potential for, scholarly productivity and external funding for
   interdisciplinary school-based research. Candidates should be committed to comprehensive
   developmental programming to support academic, career, emotional, and social development
   in diverse populations of children and adolescents.

   Application Procedure
   Review of applications will begin December 1, 2010, and will continue until the position is
   filled. Send letter of application, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and a
   statement of professional goals relative to the College of Education strategic plan
   (http://www.education.purdue.edu/strategic_plan) to Dr. Jean Peterson, Chair, Faculty Search
   Committee, Department of Educational Studies, BRNG, 100 H. University Street, Purdue
