COUNSELOR EDUCATOR (TENURE-TRACK/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR)


Responsibilities:    Teach courses in the counseling core

Community and University service

Student advisement and recruitment

Curriculum and program development

Requirements:        A doctoral degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP-approved program. Consideration will be given to ABDs as long as the terminal degree is completed by the date of appointment.
Professional identity as a Counselor Educator

Affiliation and leadership roles in counseling associations

Licensure as an LPC or license eligible in the State of Texas

Experience in community/mental health counseling, university-level teaching and work with diverse populations are preferred

Experience with CACREP accreditation strongly preferred
