Subject: Student Scholarships Available for the 4th Annual Legislative
Advocacy Day
The Ohio Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (OACES) has
agreed to pay $1,000 toward the registration fee for counseling students
(masters and doctoral levels) planning to attend the 4th Annual Legislative
Advocacy Day. This equates to about 40 scholarships for interested students.
Any students wanting to apply may e-mail their name and which counselor
education program/university they are affiliated with to Dr. David Mann
(dmann at ashland.edu), OACES President. Please type in the subject line of the
e-mail "LAD Scholarship." All applications need to be received by Friday,
April 9th to be considered. Applicants will be notified the following week
of their status.
