Subject: Counselor Education and Supervision Spring Conference

 

Colleagues:

 

As you may recall from the OACES fall meeting (held during AOCC), we voted
to change the annual Supervision Summit to the Counselor Education and
Supervision Spring Conference so as to place emphasis on three major
categories of presentations (Counselor Education, Clinical Practice, and
Supervision). The conference will offer tracks of 4 sessions per category (3
sessions running concurrently throughout the day with each focusing on a
particular category) for a total of 12 session offerings plus a plenary
session. With this format, participants may choose to stay with a particular
subject category for 4 sessions or attend a variety of topics. This year's
OACES theme of "Promoting Counselor Excellence through Professional
Collaboration" will serve as the conference theme. 

 

I've attached a Call for Proposals for your consideration to present on any
of the subject categories. In addition, I have also attached a Student
Monitor Application for those counseling students willing to serve at the
conference. More information will be forthcoming in the winter newsletter as
well as posted on our web page (http://ww.ohio-aces.org/). 

 

If you haven't registered yet for the Winter Meeting & Workshops being held
on Friday, February 12th at the Embassy Suites (Dublin), there is still time
to save a little money by registering early. Information and a downloadable
registration form are available on the OACES web page.
