I have to add them in class climate and then create the course under their name. If it’s a grad student! I use TA and undergrad, UG.

I have some courses that are evaluated by multiple people or by someone other than instructor of record.  I create a class under that person’s name so they can each be evaluated.  Does that make sense?

As far as I know, you need to be listed as a secondary instructor in Peoplesoft to be included in the survey and distribution.  However, once all surveys are completed you could definitely share the results with the undergraduate instructors.

Hello CC users. I am in the process of our first ever electronic surveys. So far, it seems to be going well. One area of question - we have a couple of non-major Dance courses led by upper class Undergrads, under the guidance of a faculty member. Is it possible to include their names as secondary instructors on the evals? This never presented an issue when using paper forms.

Michael,
We prefer to have a two week window for our course evaluations, which means having the course evaluations open on Sunday.
Are the conversations going to be recommendations or requirements?
Might we have the option of keeping the questionnaire we have and ask students to provide more information in their comments?

All,

College of Arts & Sciences admins already preparing your evaluations, might want to hold off until discussions about a modified questionnaire to compensate for the switch to online are resolved by the Faculty Senate and the Provost’s office in the next few days.  Most of us have some experience with how much fun it is to do them all over again.

(Finals will not begin until the morning of Monday, April 27th at 8AM).
