[Classclimate-users] FW: Class Climate Course Evaluation System Enhancements

I would love that enhancement if we could get it.  It would make my life easier and allow the students to cut down the number of e-mails they receive.  That might also improve our survey completion rate.

Hello Mr. Dewald,

I wanted to reach out to you directly concerning available enhancements to your Class Climate Course Evaluation System.

One of the most requested enhancements is a direct, automated import of course and instructor information from a university’s LMS, which I believe at OU is PeopleSoft.  We call the programming used to import that data a DataBridge.  When I originally spoke with Ms. Hatch and Mr. Scanlan they thought a DataBridge may be a worthwhile enhancement to add but indicated it is a university-wide decision.  I am reaching out to you to see what additional information I can provide to help you decide if it is a worthwhile feature to invest in.

Another valuable enhancement is Batch emailing, which means your students receiving email invitations to complete an online evaluation receive only one email rather than an email for each course or evaluation, which can become overwhelming.  I am pleased to inform you this is now a standard feature in the latest version of Class Climate, v.6.1.

Hi Tom & Laurie,

When we last spoke about the PeopleSoft Databridge for Class Climate you thought you would want to schedule later.  You may remember that the first step is a conference call with Brett Barnes (Scantron’s Class Climate Technical Support) to talk about exactly how you envision the system working.  After that Brett and I can provide a price quote for the services.

If you are considering implementing this for the Fall semester, or in the Summer to try it on a smaller population, it makes sense to schedule the initial call now.  At least you would have an idea of the cost of implementing the solution.

Would you like for me to send some dates when we could schedule a conference call?
