[Classclimate-users] Data load

Melissa,
Go into your questionnaire's Details screen and select all the subunits you want the questionnaire to be available to. I think that's your issue.

I am trying to print my evaluations for the School of Art. When I go to generate surveys, my questionnaire that I created is not listed under the questionnaire options. Has anybody else had this problem?

Do any of your areas have any great ideas for making sure we get a good number of responses? My faculty is very concerned that the response won't be very good (we have a lot of small enrollment classes due to the nature of our major).

Thanks.

Dear All,

My thought is that it would be much more efficient to add all classes into the system, regardless of enrollment, (but not 0 enrollment, of course) and then folks could choose whether to send out the evals for the small classes (or not). That way, time would not be wasted for users having to add those classes (that could have very easily already been in the system).

I know that we not be sending out evaluations for some classes, such as CHEM 8950's, which are the doctoral research classes. Those classes are not evaluated.

I found out it is easy to add a class. Just go to the subunits and open it. On the list of instructors, click number of classes. When that comes up, at the bottom it says, "add a class". I am having to add graduate level private lessons for graduate students since the enrollment is under four enrolled. Hope this helps.

For classes of 4 and under, I think you'll have to set the course up manually in Class Climate. The manuals should have that info.

What should we do if our school wants evaluations for classes 4 and under? I am also checking and I have a faculty member teaching four classes but she is only listed with one class in the system- her TA's are listed for the classes that they work but she is not.

Class Climate users,

I think it would be a good idea for everyone to log into Class Climate asap and verify that all your fall courses are listed, before we get too close to evaluation time and Jay has to scramble to figure out the problem. Keep in mind that any course with fewer than 4 students has been weeded out of your list already, because a majority of users has agreed on that minimum threshold for evaluating a class.

To check your list of fall course list, do this:

* Click on the Subunits tab and select the Display Courses option on the lefthand menu (below the list of subunits).

* In the Display Courses list, select one of your subunits.

* Select 2131 on the right - this is the convoluted identifier that Peoplesoft uses to denote fall 2012

* Click the Show button and your course list will appear.

* If you see any courses whose period is labeled "continuous," I think these are old ones that were uploaded in earlier testing. They aren't among my fall courses, at least.

* You may need to get a course list from your departments if you don't have access to PeopleSoft's Faculty and Advising Center.

That is not the case for Dance. Just one set of sub units.

Jill,

I think you may be having the same problem I had: If you'll look down the list, there are two sets of engineering subunits - one with spaces on each side of the hyphen and one without. The one without should have your fall courses.

The only class I'm seeing for fall 2012 is EMT online. There are no other classes loaded for fall quarter for Engineering.
