[Biking-L] Sunday Race at Mountwood

Everyone,

There will be a race at Mountwood Park near Parkersburg, WV this Sunday. Anyone that wants to go with the club should meet at Morton Parking lot at 9:00am on Sunday to carpool over to Mountwood. If you are interested reply back to the listserv ASAP so we can get an idea for cars.

I went to this race last year, and it was awesome! Even if you aren't fast or very competitive, like me, races are still a lot of fun.

I can't find any info on the race entry fee, but last year it was $35.00. This covered the number plate to put on your bike, a t-shirt, and a lot of after race pizza, bananas, gatorade, etc. To be safe, I would bring $50.00 cash with you this Sunday. I would also bring a lot of water, possibly some pre-race food, and of course, your helmet.
