Jake, thanks a lot for checking the stuff out and sending out the info.  I checked out the permit for the AEP trail, and I think this AEP trail is actually in the AEP area near Zanesville, not near Alum Creek State Park.  If you look at the maps posted, you'll see the lakes don't match up, and one of the highways listed is near Zanesville.  I'll go ahead and bring the permit with us just in case, because at the least we might go to the AEP trail some other weekend.

Hey its Jake, I was just checking out alum creek state park trails on
the central ohio mountain bike site and on the section under maps for
alum creek it says that a permit is required to ride the advanced AEP
trail? Not sure what it means exactly, but there's a link to download
and print the permit if we need it. Just giving a heads up to those in
charge, probably should check it out, not too sure if it's really
required or not.
