<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Africans, Africanists and Friends of Africa,</div><div><br></div><div>Welcome back to the beginning of a new academic year! I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for this brand new semester.</div>
<div><br></div><div>To the new students amongst us, I hope that you have all been off to a great start.</div><div><br></div><div>The ASU executives are back with new energy, ready to serve,and we are looking forward to a fulfilling academic year.</div>
<div><br></div><div>To start of the semester, there will be a welcome social this Saturday, 30th September. This social will include a volley ball game on South Beach ,4-6pm, and then dinner at 1 Monticello Dr. Apt 102, Athens, Ohio.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Snacks and drinks will be provided at the volleyball game while the dinner will take the form of a potluck. This is an opportunity for us all to share delicacies from home with one another and I'm looking forward to this exciting exchange of culture and immense diversity. The dinner will start at 7pm. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Transportation will be provided to both the volleyball game and the dinner. Please call 509-368-0128. </div><div><br></div><div>Other events have been planned for this semester and information about them will be sent out in a subsequent email. </div>
