Congratulations once again to our great partner - African Studies program -
on an overwhelmingly successful 50th anniversary celebration last night.

African cultural week is closing today with a talk by Elsa Chyrum, the 2014
ASU Heroine. The talk is entitled "African migration and its attractions
and pitfalls."

Preceding the talk will be great performances from diverse regions of
Africa ranging from Mauritania; Mali; to Congo (Brazzavillle) just to
mention a few.

You are welcome to join us for this special African cultural week closing
ceremony at the Friends of the Library room on third floor of Alden library
at 2pm this afternoon.

See you there.
