[ASU] Africa at the Athens Film Festival

Friends: I hope you get a chance to see the films from Africa at the Athens International Film Festival in the coming days. I just saw "La Pirogue" from Senegal, and it is a great film, a tragic look at a very contemporary problem of West African migration to Europe. See it again next Wednesday at 7:15 pm at the Athena. Free for students!!! and sponsored by African Studies!!  Other films from Africa at the Festival: Wednesday, Nairobi Half Life, and Tuesday afternoon, several films about women's health in Africa!!
