“Creative Arts As Activism – Celebrating MLK”

Drawing from the overall MLK Celebration theme, the purpose of  “Creative Arts As Activism” is to showcase how the influences of social media, pop culture, politics, and the various visual media, affect and shape our responses to societal issues and social movements through writing, visual art, song, and/or dance in performing arts.

If you or your student organization are interested in participating in the Ohio University MLK Celebration, “Creative Arts As Activism” event, please complete a Performance Application and return it to the Multicultural Center by December 7, 2012. See the attached information for details.
