Dear Abdul,

Thanks my brother from another mama! In deed, it is a great loss to Kenya and international fraternity. However, we celebrate her for beating all the adds to make tomorrow a better day. May she R.I.P.

Best regards,
Joyce

Dear All,

I hope this is not a scam. It is a true story. And if that is true, The 2004 Nobel Prize Winner and Environmental Activist, a Kenyan Green Belt Movement founder, Wangari Muta Maathai, has passed away. It is sad news, a loss. I am writing to share with you the news and extend my condolences to the Kenyan community at OU, ASU, those interested in African culture, politics, history, health, economy, and scholarship, and to the entire human rights and environmental activists.

May her soul rest in peace and her memorable work that should be a reminder continue to challenge our thoughts and practice.

abdul
