I am forwarding to you the email below about the International Dinner.  I am
sorry for the short notice, but please do get back to me as for how ASU
could contribute to this night.  I think it would be more than appreciated
if the legendary delicious African food is ntot missed at this event. All
you have to do, is to submit a recipe/and or volunteer to cook a dish and
show up to help with the cooking.

Dear member orgs,

As you all know, the International dinner is only two weeks away. The
international dinner is the second biggest event organized by ISU. Students,
faculty, staff and community expect a lot from us as an international
community. ISU has successfully delivered the international dinner every
year in a spectacular way that lived up to the expectations. With your help,
we are working hard to make this dinner live up to the legacy. You all know
that without the participation of the GB member orgs, ISU wouldn't be what
it is. This dinner is one of the few times where ISU calls out on all the
members orgs to participate, and we have faith, that like us (the executive
committee), you want ISU to grow and succeed. So far only 10 organizations
have submitted recipes for the dinner and we do appreciate that, but we are
still short of last year's menu. Last year, we had around 26 dishes from 19
different organizations. There is still time for the organizations who
haven't submitted recipes to do so by tomorrow afternoon ( Thursday the 6th)
. If your organization doesn't have cooks, you could serve a pre-cooked
ethnic food (OU executive chef will buy it for us) that represent your
country or organization. As I have mentioned several times in the GB
meetings, we, the executive committee, are here to help you, but now its
your turn to help ISU. You are ISU so the success is yours. Please remember
that our presence and funding rely heavily on such big events, so its your
time to shine now.
