Dear Colleagues,

Please find the forwarded mail below from the BSU. This sounds like a good
idea to me. As you may be aware, one of our (new executives) initiatives is
to collaborate more with some sister organizations on campus, especially the
Black Students Union.

To the executives which of you will be available to have about 45mins
discussion with the BSU this week on this and other proposed plans. Manu and
I have already been on board on this.

Greetings Prince,

It’s been a while since we last spoke but I hope all is well. Although the
school year is coming to an end, BSU has been thinking about different
programs that we are interested in holding. One event in particular we would
like to work with ASU on. The event would be interactive because as you know
we love to talk. The purpose of the event is to introduce and indulge our
cultures within one another.

The program will be somewhat like a speed-dating set-up. However, in this
case participants are not trying to land a date. Instead, the purpose is to
ask questions and find out more information about each culture. There will
be a certain amount of time for participants to speak with each person. At
the end of the program, we will come back together as a group and discuss
things we learned about each culture. The event is not to be elaborate,
however we seek to get a hefty amount of participation from the Black
community as well as African community.

If this is something ASU would be willing to help with please let me know. I
know finals week is here and it may be hard to spread the word to your
organization, so please just get back at your convenience. Talk to you soon
