[ASU] OU African Ensemble to Perform in Alden

Please share this announcement with members of your organizations and/or department. Please excuse duplicate postings.

The Ohio University African Ensemble will perform at Alden Library on Wednesday February 9 at 2pm. The performance will take place in the Friends of the Library Room (319) and is part of the Ohio University Libraries' Diversity Committee's Culture Showcase theme titled "Musical Notes for Various Folks: World Music and Dance" during the Winter Quarter 2011. The OUAE provides opportunities for students of all backgrounds to explore the exciting world of African music and dance. Their repertoire includes dances with elaborate costumes and traditional instruments from Ghana, Togo, Benin and more. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
