[ASU] THE BIG DEBATE

Members of the mighty ASU, I salute you!! For sure, excitements are in the air.
In order to keep the momentum, i propose that we have a debate amongst the
candidates, more so the Presidential candidates this Friday at night. We can
spice up the debates with some good music peppered with drinks and snacks. Who
is for the idea?
RSVP then i shall arrange the logistics if the membership agrees. Of course we
shall have Q & A session too during the elections day. But first, lets listen to
these guys' manifestos, and oooh yes have some fun that we can only get outside
a formal meeting.

this excitement is encouraging people. we have not seen this in a while. keep
the fire burning. i second (or third) all the names nominated for various
positions.
Up with ASU and may Africa never lack courageous leaders to take the continent

Hello everyone,
As it has been alluded to, the ASU election date was pushed to Sunday, April
24th 2011 during the last GB. Nominations are therefore open until Saturday,
April 23 2011 at midnight.
It is important that those candidates who have been nominated accept their
nominations through the list-serve by the nomination deadline so as to give the
electoral commission enough time to compile the names.
The election venue will be communicated in due course.
Keep the nominations coming.
