Alden Library Diversity Committee

 

The second presentation of Alden Library's Culture Showcase Series titled,
"The International Student Experience at Ohio University" will feature
speaker Dr. Vibert Cambridge, Professor, School of Media Arts and Studies,
Scripps College of Communication. Dr. Cambridge's presentation is entitled,
Alden Library and Guyanese Social History: A Personal Research Journey.
Professor Cambridge came to OU as a graduate student in 1986 and embarked on
a research project that focused on the Caribbean and Guyana. His talk will
address the way in which Alden Library supported the research agenda of an
international student who became a faculty member.

Date and Time: Tuesday, May 25 from 2:10 - 3 pm
Place: Friends of the Libraries Room (Alden 319)
Please join us in the Friends of the Libraries room on the third floor of
Alden Library. Light refreshments will be served and admission is free.
Faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to attend.
