<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hello everyone, I hope your summer is off to a good start.<br><br><br></div>Come fall semester we will have a new weekly service project. The Athens County Humane Society have partnered up with the Athens Petsmart to keep some of their adoptable cats and kittens in the store to increase exposure to the public and to increase the chance they will find a home! <br>
<br></div>Since the cats will be kept in the store 24/7, ACHS is looking for volunteers to go in every morning to clean out the cages and check up on the cats themselves. Volunteers will also take the cats out of the cages and play with them or let them roam around the adoption area. As of now we don't have any details what days we will be needed or how many volunteers will be needed each week. Right now we are just coordinating with both Petsmart and ACHS to see what would work best.<br>
<br> However, If you are in Athens over the summer and are interested in doing this project next semester, or if you just really like cats, you are more than welcome to join me for my shift and I can show you what we will be doing. I will be posting more information about that on the 'bros of summertime' facebook group and sending out an email via the summer service mailing list (which if you want to be on- please RSVP to this email!).<br>
