Chapter Minutes 1/27/13


Danielle Fultz- Sign up for Relay!! There will be an ipad going around so
you can sign up at chapter.


President

   - Office hours Tuesday 2:00-?
   - Our office is Baker 312


Ombudsmen

   - Question of the week! What would you like the 5k to benefit?
   - You can always meet with us by making an appointment
   - Financial aid forms will be sent out this week


Treasurer

   - Dues are $50 for actives!
   - Kathryn will not be at chapter next week but will continue to collect
   dues Feb 10th


J-Board

   - Service Week nominations
   - Constitution changes- Article 2 Section 5- If you want to go associate
   you must contact J-Board by the end of week 2, this may change for
   committees like membership who need their committee right away.
   - Grades! Send them!!! You have until the end of week 4


Service

   - Weeklies- Monday lunch, ATCO rec night, crafts, uno, Kennedy Gallery
   Guard (if you went to the training), Hats for Heads, West Elementary
   library helpers, ABH (if you went to training), Dog walking (if you turned
   in the form), Last Chance Corral, Ray of Hope donations (can get one
   service hour friday for donating toiletries and healthy foods such as
   toilet paper, toothpaste, pasta ect, drop off items at Allison’s apt at 67
   Stewart St Apt A
   - Polar Bear Plunge! Feb 9th
   - Bare on the Bricks Feb 23
   - Remember to turn in sign ins! We won’t be accepting them one month
   after the event and make sure they are hand written!


Membership

   - Rust starts tomorrow!!!!! Sign up on the website!
   - Formal Rush: Mon 7:30pm Baker Theatre (no jeans)
   - Informal Rush: Tues 7:30pm Baker Ballroom B (try to wear an APhiO
   shirt!)
   - Please arrive to Rush events 5-10 minutes early!
   - Monday 1/28 3rd floor lounge rush event, music, flyers, candy, ect
   - Potluck Wednesday 1/30 7:30pm Grover W115
   - Game NIght Thursday 1/31 7:30pm Baker 240
   - Sign up to go or donate food! The Potluck and game night count as
   fellowship hours!
   - Give us your big applications! The sooner the better!
   - We have rush shirts! Give your $$ to get yours
   - Bid committee meet after chapter


Fellowship

   - Life of Pi Tuesday 4:50pm Athena Cinema (Court st)
   - Rush week events! Potluck Wednesday and Game Night Thursday
   - TV viewing parties! Like the idea? Can you host one? Let the
   fellowship girls know!
   - Bros in different area codes shirts... get them!
   - If you want a homecoming sweatshirt there are still come extras, see
   victoria


Historian

   - Graduating seniors must sign up online for the event titled
   “Graduating Seniors” no later than Feb 10th
   - Committee meet in the back of Morton after chapter


Faculty Pageant

   - BUY A SHIRT! $10 it counts as a mandatory hour! Helps with PR for the
   event and the profits go to Camp Quality!
   - We still need professors!
   - Committee meeting tomorrow 8pm Baker 237
   - Mark your calendars! Camp Quality is July 13-20th, training days TBA,
   companion registration not open yet, ill keep you updated!
   - The Nichols Family welcomed Aceynn Steven Nichols 1/24/2013, they will
   be at the pageant if they can!


Relay

   - The following people need to see us after chapter: Brianna Mctaggart,
   Brittany McDonaugh, Deena Benkey, Emma Jensen, Erin Carlsonm, Gary Checki,
   Jessica Baird, Kacee Babinger, Katie Conlon, Kendron Taylor, Kerry Rhoads,
   Kristi Flesher, Maria Brafford, Melissa Petro, Natalie Zelich, and Tyler
   Stalings
   - Our next committee meeting will be Sunday before chapter, check your
   email for location and official time





Fundraising

   - Grilled Cheese sale Friday
   - B-dubs Feb 4- don’t forget to save your receipt!
   - Texas Hold’em Tournament?
   - Everyone needs 2 fundraising hours and you can only get one from
   buying/donating
   - Committee please meet briefly after chapter
   - Leana Pitt, Melanie Oreskovich, Nick Rees, Paige Formanek, Suzy
   Goralske


Youth Service

   - Granada Street Kids- Feb 1st 11-3 and Feb 12th 11-3
   - Library Helpers- Tuesdays 2-3:15 and Wednesdays 12:55-2:45, extra
   dates the week of Feb 11th
   - Calliope Child Care- 5:45-8:15 Mondays Lutheran Church next to the DZ
   house
   - Box tops for Education- Same as usual, you can do twice a semester (20
   tops), 10 tops=1 hours
   - Pop tabs- Changed! You can do twice a semester, 30 tabs=1hour
   - Check the lock dates/times on events
   - Put your name and number when you sign up
   - Sign ins must be turned in within the month


5K

Service Week

   - If you didn’t speak with me before chapter and are still interested in
   running, come find me or call me
   - Sadly Jamie has to resign from her position so there are now 2 open
   spots, please go talk to her if you are interested in being a service week
   chair


Inter Chapter

- We still be having a committee meeting for about 20 minutes before rush
on Tuesday


PR

   - Brother of the Week- Jamie Roberts! Check out the full article on our
   facebook page!


Awards

   - Happy Birthday to Brianna Washington, Carly Finton, Natalie Zelich and
   Michael Mulig!!! Don’t forget to get your birthday cookie!


Announcements

   - Get all your shirts!
   - $5 for the big brother big sister pancake breakfast
