 Hey Bros,

As some of you may know, El Presidente Laura Hopkins and I are chairing the 2nd Annual OU Habitat for Humanity Run for Cover 5K once again this year.  We want you (and a local family NEEDS you) to register and run this year!

Consider this:
--The poverty rate in Athens in significantly higher than the Ohio average.
--There are about 1,000 families in Athens that live in substandard conditions.
--These families do not always have a roof over their heads and 3 meals a day like you and I do.

However, because of people like you and I...
--A family has been chosen for the 1st-ever student-led build! That is, we will be breaking ground this fall for a home in Jacksonville (about 10 mins from Athens) built entirely by students like us from the ground up.  Unfortunately, this is an expensive project.  Fundraisers like this are incredibly important to making this work.

This is a local cause, working with families right here in Athens County.  We cannot stress enough the importance of this fact.  We have the power to change a family's life forever.

This year's 5K is November 7th at noon at Ping. We're giving one service hour for registering and one hour for running.  Registration is only $15 and includes a shirt!
